On the final day of the 2021 preseason, Chris joined Gin and Chronic forming America’s Next Popp Model. Chris immediately had suspicions about Pat and wrote multiple posts on the league’s message board expressing legitimate concerns regarding Pat manipulating the league outside the proper codes of conduct. Chris’ numerous warnings fell on deaf ears, with no league members seeming to care.
In a series of secret meetings known as “The NYC Rendezvous Scandal”, Pat and Commissioner Valdes plotted how they would use their power to manipulate the league. Commissioner Valdes even wrote a dubious story on the league message board in an attempt to distract people from his criminal alliance with Pat.
In the weeks that followed Pat:
The Week 13 match up between America’s Next Popp Model and Christian McGibblets featured many clear examples of corruption and interference, leading to a Christian McGibblets victory. Chris was livid and threatened to “BURN IT DOWN!”
The following week Chris released his “Manifesto of The New Sunday”, featuring many denouncements of Pat and the “secret ruling class.” The manifesto also announced the formation of The New Sunday, a fantasy league “founded on the principles of liberty, equality, and unity”. Chris invited league members to join America’s Next Popp Model as founding teams in the new league but clearly stated that both Pat and Commissioner Valdes were prohibited from participating.
Throughout December 2021, Chris covertly directed a Russian troll farm in a campaign to manipulate the outcome of the first round of playoffs. The global effort directly led to the defeats of the 76th Street Rat Kings and the Christian McGibblets. Chris claimed that justice had been served but felt it was a moral obligation to resign as manager of America’s Next Popp Model because he broke the rules he was originally trying to defend. Mike Ditka was brought in as interim manager of America’s Next Popp Model for the rest of the season.
As a result of all the chaos, America’s Next Popp Model missed playoffs but still finished fifth in the league after winning all post-regular season match ups.

In the weeks that followed Pat:
- Orchestrated an illegal draft with outside help and guidance.
- Kidnapped Aaron Rodgers and replaced him with a Tesla Bot in Week One.
- Colluded with League Commissioner Valdes on ways to improve their team’s advantage.
- Extorted and bribed various league members into silence and obedience.
- Infiltrated the National Football League’s computer servers in their Manhattan headquarters.
- Match fixed the Week Nine match up between Christian McGibblets and 76th Street Rat Kings.
- Injured his own player Christian McCaffrey to manufacture an “underdog” narrative that would garner goodwill from fellow league members.
- Turned Calvin Ridley into a gambler unable to play for most of the season.
- Infected Aaron Rodgers with the COVID-19 virus.
